Can you guarantee a tee time on the Old Course?
Yes. Authorised St Andrews Links Trust providers hold an advance allocation of Old Course tee times, sold as part of a package with a stay and other rounds. Allocations are limited, so book months ahead. If guaranteed times are gone for your dates, we enter you in the daily ballot and plan the trip to give you several chances.
Is a handicap required?
For the Old Course, yes: every player must show a valid handicap certificate, with a maximum of 36 for men and women. The other St Andrews courses do not require one.
When is the best time to go to St Andrews?
The main season runs from April to October. The Old Course is open all year but closed on Sundays, so we plan your other rounds and a rest day around it.
Can you arrange The Open 2027 at St Andrews?
