REAL AMERICAN FREESTYLE — ABU DHABI

Real wrestling, no script. Real American Freestyle is the professional league that took the sport out of the Olympic cycle and put it under arena lights: unscripted freestyle bouts between Olympic and world champions, NCAA legends and the best wrestlers in mixed martial arts. Since its launch it has featured Bo Nickal, Kyle Dake, Jordan Burroughs, Henry Cejudo and Arman Tsarukyan; its June card ended in a brawl after 45 seconds that went round the world.

On 14 November RAF makes its Middle East debut in Abu Dhabi, and it brings the biggest name it has: Khamzat Chimaev, the undefeated UFC champion, wrestling in front of the city that treats him as its own. His opponent and the rest of the card — Olympians, and the Dagestani and Central Asian names the league has been signing all year — are announced through October.

The seats

Mat-side — floor seats in the first rows, close enough to hear the coaches
Floor — arena-level seats behind mat-side, full view of the mat and the walkouts
Hospitality loges — private boxes at the front of the lower bowl, dedicated service, sold as a unit

The week

Three weeks after UFC 333 at the same arena, three weeks before the Grand Prix. For clients who like Etihad Arena, this is the middle night of an Abu Dhabi autumn: UFC on 24 October, RAF on 14 November, Bocelli and race week in December.
