CANELO vs MBILLI

Canelo comes back. On 31 October Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez returns to the ring for the first time since his loss to Terence Crawford in September 2025, challenging the undefeated Christian Mbilli for the WBC super-middleweight title — a belt Canelo held himself and wants back. Mbilli, the French-Cameroonian champion who fights out of Montreal, brings a record of 29-0-1 with 24 knockouts and a style built on pressure and finishing power; a win over Canelo would be the upset that defines his career.

For Canelo it is a different question. At 36, with 63 wins, twelve world titles in four weight classes and pay-per-view fights that have grossed close to a billion dollars, this is the night that decides whether the loss to Crawford was a chapter or the ending. There is no bigger draw in boxing, and it lands in the middle of Riyadh Season, one week after the Six Kings Slam and the same weekend as the Halloween cards in the West — but this is the fight the world will be watching on DAZN.
