Andrea Bocelli brings the Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour to Abu Dhabi — three decades since the album that gave the world Con te partirò became the best-selling Italian-language record of all time. On stage with him: the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. In the hall: the Middle East's largest indoor arena, filled to the last note.
And the date is no accident. The concert launches the inaugural Yasalam Classics — the curtain-raiser of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race week, one evening before the circuit comes alive. Bocelli on Wednesday; the season finale through Sunday. There is no finer way to begin that week.
